TYPICA
Sweet, mild, and approachable. Notes of chocolate and nuts.
Typica is one of two parent varieties of coffee cultivars and has been selectively bred for more than 500 years. The Typica group, like all Arabica coffee, is supposed to have originated in southwestern Ethiopia. Typica has mutated and been cross-bred across the world It’s still widely planted in Peru, Mexico, Indonesia, and Jamaica, to name a few countries.
The Typica variety is sweet, mild, and approachable. Notes of chocolate and nut take center stage, complemented by hints of spice. Typica’s acidity is mild and balanced, conjuring dried fruit and dark stone fruit, such as black cherry and plum.
CATIMOR
Smooth body, and notes of dark cherry, chocolate, and plum.
Catimor is a type of Arabica coffee bean that is a cross between the Timor and Caturra beans. It was developed in the 1950s by Portuguese scientists to help save the coffee industry in Central America. Catimor is a hardy, disease-resistant, and high-yielding plant that is often grown in Southeast Asia.
Catimor coffee has a smooth body, a long and rich finish, and notes of dark cherry, chocolate, and plum. With this complex blend of flavors, it’s a crowd-pleasing type of coffee that has the best of both worlds. It definitely leans more into the world of arabica with the fruity notes, but those nutty undertones are all robusta.
GEISHA
Light, bright, and floral, with tea-like characteristics not usually found in coffee.
Geisha is an Ethiopian variety, selected from the Gori Geisha forest in the southwestern part of the country. The variety was originally collected from coffee forests in Ethiopia in the 1930s and then distributed to Panama in the 1960s. Geisha coffees are very highly valued because of their rarity, production costs, and flavor.
This exclusive Geisha coffee boasts a light, bright, and floral profile, offering tea-like characteristics that are both unique and refreshing. Experience the rich complexity of dark chocolate and sweet vanilla, complemented by the subtle sweetness of dried fruit. The aroma reveals inviting hints of hazelnut and prune, creating an unforgettable cup of coffee.
Enjoy this rare opportunity to discover Geisha in all it's glory. We have an extremely limited supply.
